‘The Swimmer II’ was one of the first screenprints I designed and printed. Spending a lot of time on The Shannon I’ve been struck by the courage of Irish sea & river swimmers in freezing waters. This was originally 2 colours but with the halftone of the blue on the bottom of the image and blending dark blue with lighter added greater depth and shadow around the swimmer.

Please note these are hand-pulled screenprints so each print may vary slightly!

Hand-pulled screenprint. Printed on 300gsm Munken pure rough paper (FSC Certified). Size with mounting A3 (297×420mm), backed with 450gsm 100% recycled grey backing board and packaged in PLA clear eco bags or framed. All prints are numbered and signed.
